MailVeri Integration

Connect your MailVeri API key to Enrichabl for budget-friendly bulk email verification. MailVeri is the cheapest validation option and can also be combined with BounceBan in Hybrid mode.

Overview

MailVeri is used during the Validation step of your enrichment pipeline, just like BounceBan. It offers a lower-cost alternative for email verification at the tradeoff of slower processing and slightly lower reliability.

Enrichabl supports three validation modes that use MailVeri:

  • MailVeri: Uses only MailVeri — cheapest option, slower processing, less reliable than BounceBan
  • Hybrid: Combines MailVeri with BounceBan for a balance of cost and reliability
  • BounceBan: Uses only BounceBan (does not require a MailVeri key)
BYOK Model: You pay MailVeri directly for verification credits. Enrichabl does not mark up the cost.

Getting Your MailVeri API Key

  1. Visit the MailVeri website and create an account
  2. Navigate to your API settings or dashboard
  3. Copy your API key

Adding Your Key to Enrichabl

  1. In Enrichabl, navigate to the API Keys page from the sidebar
  2. Click Add API Key
  3. Select MailVeri from the list of services
  4. Paste your API key and click Add Key

Your key will appear in the API Keys list. You can toggle it on or off at any time. Only one key per service is allowed.

Using MailVeri for Validation

After importing leads into a pipeline, go to the Validation tab:

  1. You'll see the number of imported leads ready to validate
  2. Optionally set a limit on how many leads to validate (leave empty for all)
  3. Select MailVeri from the Verification Service dropdown
  4. Click Validate Leads

Progress is tracked in real-time. Each email receives a status of Valid, Risky, Invalid, or Unknown.

Recommendation: If you're on a budget, start with MailVeri for initial validation. For production outreach lists where deliverability matters, use BounceBan or Hybrid mode.

Hybrid Validation Mode

When both a BounceBan key and a MailVeri key are active in Enrichabl, you can select Hybrid as the verification service. This combines the strengths of both providers — giving you better accuracy than MailVeri alone at a lower cost than BounceBan alone. Hybrid mode may take longer to complete as it coordinates between both services.

Skipping Validation

You can also select None as the verification service to skip email validation entirely and move leads directly to the enrichment stage. This is useful if your email addresses have already been validated elsewhere.

Understanding Validation Results

Each email receives one of four statuses:

  • Valid: Email exists and can receive mail. Safe to enrich and contact.
  • Risky: Email may exist but has risk factors (catch-all domain, role-based address). Use with caution.
  • Invalid: Email does not exist or will bounce. Remove from your list.
  • Unknown: Validation could not be completed. Retry later.

Best Practices

  • Use MailVeri for testing: When testing your pipeline, MailVeri's lower cost makes it ideal for trial runs
  • Switch to Hybrid for production: Before running a real outreach campaign, re-validate with Hybrid for better accuracy
  • Monitor unknown rates: If you see many "Unknown" results, retry those leads later or switch to BounceBan
  • Validate before AI enrichment: Always validate first to avoid wasting AI credits on invalid leads

Troubleshooting

Error: "Invalid API Key"

Fix: Verify your key in the MailVeri dashboard and re-enter it in Enrichabl.

Slow Processing Speed

Expected behavior: MailVeri is inherently slower than BounceBan. For faster results, switch to BounceBan or Hybrid mode.

High "Unknown" Rate

Fix: Wait a few hours and retry. If the issue persists, try validating the same emails with BounceBan for more reliable results.
